Iball Premio v3.0 Reviews

Welcome back guys this is me umang back again to give a detailed review about a Budget Segment Laptop manufactured by Iball as a part of "Tech for All" initiative.

Lets Start

This laptop in my terms is a beast in this budget segment because the competitors in this segment won't give this much ram as well as this powerful processor.

This laptop was launched as a upgrade to its predecessor Premio V2.0 in terms of Ram & Processor although the pricing was in same range as that of Premio V2.0 around Rs 14000/- which can be purchased from the below mentioned links (Just click on image).

Flipkart
https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07NHQPBYN/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl1&tag=iball0b-21&linkId=43d117a638f38090d5377140d0d63f52&language=en_IN

I prefer to go with flipkart as it gives additional Rs1000/-discount if paid with credit card plus no cost emi option however for one day delivery amazon is the best.

In terms of Quick Recap this laptop comes with the following Specs :-

  • Windows 10 (Paid Version)
  • Intel® Pentium®Processor N4200, Up to 2.5 GHz
  • 14 inch Full HD IPS Display (1920*1080)
  • Touch Pad with Multi-Touch functionality
  • 0.3MP (VGA) (The worst thing about this Laptop)
  • 4 GB DDR3 RAM
  • 32 GB built-in storage
  • Slot to connect additional HDD/SSD (Support upto 1TB only 2.5inch 7mm max)
  • Dual Speakers
  • Battery – 38wh Li-Polymer
  • Power Adapter - DC 12 V, 2.0 A
  • 1.30 kg (w/o HDD)

I got this laptop in July 2019 for Rs 12990/- the main reason i got this laptop being a student with limited money and resources we need a laptop that can perform our day to day basic tasks and to some extent a little bit of gaming😆.

Processor
This laptop come with a 8th Gen Intel Pentium n4200 processor which in other terms i can say comparable to 3rd gen Intel i3 processor because the benchmarks are similar however the base frequency is 1.4 GHz when the system is idle keeping battery life to average 3.5 - 4 hrs usage & it goes upto 2.4 GHz at full usage which drains the battery within a time limit of 30 minutes also it is a octacore processor means the threads handling is very smooth & it is also the latest offering which no other competitor offers.

Ram & Storage
This laptop comes with a 4GB DDR3 memory which is a major upgrade believe me guys no other laptop in this segment gives this much ram and this powerful processor although if you purchased this laptop you might need to spend an additional Rs 4000/- on a 500gb SSD because the space offered is 32 gigs and that too is a EMMC however if you want to extend the space there is an option to install a separate 2.5 inch (7mm) HDD or SSD which roughly costs around Rs 4000-4500/-easy for 500 GB.

Display
The main attraction of this laptop is its Full HD IPS display which is a beauty in every sense of word the viewing experience is beautiful also it is capable of playing 4K videos without any lag imagine surfing FHD videos online lag free.

Office Use
For office purposes i considered this as a risky investment not because of storage space but because of build quality as the body is made of plastic which bends easily if a light pressure is applied all the best if you have to carry it to your office however for work from home purposes this is the best option as it is capable of running MS office 2013, Tally, & other office productivity apps, etc lag free but this laptop is not capable of running apps used for coding, interior designing purposes, etc.

Gaming
As i told earlier that this laptop has N4200 process which is quite a beast according to its price range but that doesn't mean we can play heavy title games like GTA 5, Far Cry 5 or 4, Fifa 2015, etc.

Although i tried to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare (1,2,3) , PES 2015 & 2017, Transport Fever, Tropico 5 etc the performance really surprised me we can play all this titles except PES 2017 lag free on medium settings yes i am speaking truth the 4GB ram and Pentium 8th Gen is capable to run games that require ram of maximum 3 GB although for space constraints i already told that i installed a Western Digital 2.5 inch 240GB SSD which is enough for me although i cant be sure whether the performance will be same if HDD is installed.

Overall i want to say that as per the price segment there was a little room left for up gradation in terms of quality but overall for this price the offering is best according to me as it was successfully able to meet my basic requirements from a laptop.
From the point if view of purchasing its your choice whether to purchase it or not but in terms of rating it deserves 4 out of 5 in my opinion.

Thank you for investing your time in reading this review if anyone wants to ask any question regarding my review or anything about this laptop fee free to comment below i surely get back to you.

Thank You.

Coolpad Note 3 lite Review after 22 months

Hi Everyone this is Umang today i will be posting a review about a very popular mobile.

You might know that coolpad Released A Lite Version of its First Finger print Sensor Mobile
coolpad note 3.

Just see on the right side for a small comparison about basic features of this phone with its new version competitor coolpad note 3 plus.

I managed to get one in hands from offline retailer by paying Rs.800/- extra when it was released in India.

So guyzz I am Gonna tell my experience after using this mobile for 3 years and will be updating this blog time to time till the mobile survives with me.

One thing you all  must understand that the usage differs from person to person  i can't guarantee that your review about this mobile will be same with mine but to some extend we might able to relate.

So before doing any further delays lets start the detailed review of this mobile.

1) Cash Pricing Rating

In the Scale of 5 i give this mobile a 4.4 stars. seriously this mobile was a value for money when it was released because of the 3 GB Ram, 16GB Internal Storage, 4G support, Quad core processor (when most provided a dual core processors)  also the Fingerprint sensor tech (which was quiet a new tech at that time) which was the exceptional feature anyone could get in android for around 7K.

The rating could have changed if Company had provided Android 6 Marshmellow official android Update via its update App (unofficial Coolui update with lots of bugs was posted on company's website). Although i flashed it with Android 8.1 Oreo (only Low sound bug & no VOLTE)  downloaded from xda developers site link for which is click here kept mine out of getting outdated software wise atleast.

2) Performance

As i said earlier usage differs with different users my usage pattern was playing heavy graphic games streaming videos with youtube app making some calls, whatsapp, etc. Performance wise i never encountered issues except heating if you play high graphic game while charging it usually heated a lot. however in the scale of 5 i  can give this mobile 4 stars since company could have slightly tweaked the  performance of this phone.

Otherwise this was the perfect android device in budget segment for gamers personally i liked this mobile as i used to play Fifa 15, Fifa 16, Fifa mobile, Real Racing 3, Shadow Fight 2 & 3, PES 2018 & 2019 & Mortal Kombat (heating issue) although PUBG is not playable even in low graphics but a alternative game FreeFire can be played at medium graphics same as PUBG but slight different in many terms.

Any android gamer could know that above mentioned games are very good titles in android gaming which provides users a high quality graphic experience.

3) Battery & Storage Capacity

In Terms of battery this is an average mobile as it comprised only 2500 MaH battery which is low as compared to its Specs Requirement. Heavy Graphic Gaming will make battery long lasting for 2 hours max.

Storage is the biggest issue i faced as it includes only 16 Gb Internal Storage out of which 10.93 G is available for the user with the disadvantage of not providing an option to move app to sdcard although its is possible after rooting.

A memory card option is available but when it comes to downloading heavy graphic games which consume almost 2 GB per game including its cache, data & Obb files.

There is no Direct Install app to Sd card option available however a move to sd card option is available which is of no use in case of system apps update from Google play store.

Battery of this phone is also a cheap quality since the promised backup time provided by this battery was reduced to 50% after just 6 months of usage of  new mobile unit.

4) Android Operating System

This device comes with a pre installed Coolui 6 which is based on Android Lollipop 5.1. Although 7 months latter an Unofficial Coolui 8 update was made available on its official Website which included a number of Improvements and bugs like

1) Volte Support was added for Jio sim support.
2) Coolui Was Slightly Improved for Performance.
3) Unwanted Bloatware apps like yahoofinance, COD2 games were removed
4) Fingerprint Sensor support of Digital payments app like TEZ,etc were updated.
5) Homescreen used to auto reset after continuous restarting mobile for 3 times.
6) User defined ringtones could be set but when there is incoming call phone just vibrates no ringtone sound is audible.

Personally saying Company could have optimized its UI more if Unwanted Bloatware apps like Google play Movies, Google Play books, Google play Newsstand which i think majority users don't use could have been removed at eats approx 500mb space.

Thats it guyzz so this was my First Review about coolpad note 3 lite.

please comment for any mistakes made if any.

Thank you.
